icunet wins the German Excellence Prize 2018
It takes courage to invest in new ideas. icunet’s entrepreneurial courage has now been rewarded with the German Excellence Prize 2018. The award was presented for the first time by the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ) and the German DUB UNTERNEHMER-Magazin. It marks outstanding achievements of German industry. The jury, composed of 11 representatives from business, academia and the media, looked for “extraordinary people with extraordinary ideas who walked extraordinary paths.” Presided over by Heiner Bremer, journalist and former STERN Editorial Director, the jurors ultimately had to select the winners from each category.
One of the worthy award winners is Dr. Fritz Audebert, founder and CEO of icunet. As representative he took first prize in the category learn & inform (“Lernen & Informieren”) for icunet’s new intercultural, online-based E-Learning tool, the Global Manager Master Class. Dr. Audebert was honored to receive this prize at a celebratory awards ceremony in Frankfurt am Main on January 18, 2018. “The Global Manager is the only tool worldwide that allows for a level based competence development with regards to intercultural topics”, he describes the latest product innovation of icunet, “it’s a virtual learning experience, intercultural knowledge to go so to speak.”
In total, 61 representatives from a wide variety of industries were awarded for their excellent products, services, campaigns and projects. Both big players as well as start-ups took part in the competition.
