South Africa: Changed requirements for Intra-Company-transfer (ICT)
For any ICT visa application it is necessary to hand in a so called Transfer of Skills Plan. It shows up what knowledge and skills will be transferred from the foreign employee to the South African company.
South African Home Affairs announced requirement a South African citizen to be appointed beforehand who would receive the skills training from the foreign national. Furthermore it is required to add the ID copy of this South African citizen to the foreign national’s ICT visa application. All of this information must be worked into the Transfer of Skills plan. In addition this requirement has been integrated with the submission of ICT extensions within South Africa. It is recommended to HR’s to act very attentional on this.
